The traveler behind the lens

About Juan

Portrait of Juan with his camera

I believe the best way to understand a place is to stay long enough to be surprised by it.

I'm Juan, a photographer and slow traveler who has spent the last eight years crossing Asia by train, boat, motorbike, and a lot of walking. I started this blog to keep the stories I was collecting from slipping away, and it grew into a way to share the continent I love with anyone who's curious.

I'm not interested in bucket lists or the perfect ten-stop itinerary. I care about the noodle vendor who remembers my order, the festival I stumbled into by accident, and the quiet mornings before a place wakes up. That's the version of travel I want to document and share here.
